About the artist

I am Peter Gulian, an artist living and working in Larnaca, Cyprus. I paint in oil and watercolour and also make drawings, digital art and detailed biological illustrations of the animals and plants of Cyprus and elsewhere.

Much of my work shows the places around me: the Finikoudes promenade, Castella beach, the Larnaca Salt Lake and Hala Sultan Tekke, the Dhekelia power station, and mountain villages such as Kalopanayiotis and the Kakokefalos viewpoint near Machairas. I also paint portraits and scenes drawn from family history and local life.

All the paintings on this site are original and for sale. I accept commissions for portraits, landscapes, houses, and biological illustrations. To order a painting or ask about a price, please email me.
